SRINAGAR: According to a circular issued by General Administration Department (GAD) the vehicles parked by the government employees at the Tourist Reception Centre, Srinagar and Government Quarters situated at Tulsi Bagh, Bemina, Budshah Flats cause difficulties in restoration of buildings affected due to recent floods.
Keeping this in view and in order to facilitate smooth restoration and cleanliness of these buildings, it is impressed upon all the concerned departments, officers and officials of State government the vehicles may be shifted from the Tourist Reception Centre and the premises of Government Quarters immediately by 28th September, 2014, failing which these vehicles shall be lifted by the J and K Tourism Development Corporation/Estates Department and any damage/loss accruing to the vehicles during the lifting operation shall be at the risk of the concerned department /owner.
Meanwhile, conscious of the health requirements of Secretariat employees, the GAD has made all arrangements by way of medicine including chlorine tablets, masks etc so that they don’t face any problem while discharging their duties.
The Secretary, GAD, M.A Bukhari appealed to the employees to contact Civil Secretariat dispensary in case they need any assistance or help in this regard.
