JAMMU:
A meeting of All Mechanical Engineering Graduate Association was held on Friday at the Institution of Engineers (India), Channi Himmat Jammu in order to protest against the manhandling and brutal attack on AEE, PHE Sub Division, Hiranagar Er Gurdeep Singh Bali in presence of SDM Hiranagar, Ex Engineer PHE (M) and police personnel on 27th April 2015. The association strongly condemned the barbaric act of mishandling of a gazetted Govt officer who was discharging his duty of restoring the damaged dugwell.
The Mechanical Engineers also condemned the lackadaisical attitude of the administration as well as the parent department in delay lodging of the FIR against the culprits.
The association members demanded stern action against the culprits and warned that the engineers will be left with no other alternative than to take extreme step in future, if such episode is repeated.
