SRINAGAR: Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo on Thursday directed the officers of Industries and Commerce department to assess the damage caused to the industrial sector so that a rehabilitation-cum-compensation package is worked out for those who suffered extensively due to massive floods in the State. He also asked them to submit their report to the concerned quarter by tomorrow positively.
This direction was given by the minister while chairing a meeting with the officers of I and C Department here on Thursday.
The meeting discuss the course of action required to be taken for putting the industrial sector back on rails.
Kichloo stated that he will also talk to various industrial associations of the State to incorporate their views in the package that the Government will work out to overcome the losses due to floods.
