JAMMU: Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS), Jammu has come forward and joined the movement ‘Pledge To Save Water’ initiated by Let’s Do It Jammu.
Not only the Co-ordinator, Dr. Pawan Malhotra appreciated the efforts of the organisation for taking such a necessitated cause but also made sure that the staff and the students of the medical college also gets involved with the movement. As a token of appreciation, a certificate was issued to the doctors and the students for their contribution to the cause.
Dr. Malhotra said, “It is really such a wonderful initiative by Let’s Do It Jammu to make people aware of such a precious source of nature. Reaching out to people and making them pledge for the cause shows their commitment and concern for making people cognizant for water conservation. I extend my wishes for the campaign.”
Students also participated in the interaction with zeal and enthusiasm and promised to inculcate the habit of saving water in their routines.
“Pledge To Save Water aims to bring all the Jammuites together in conserving the precious source; water. The movement is aimed at increasing awareness to use water wisely and save water wherever possible. When you decide to join #PledgeToSaveWater Movement you are making a commitment to save water by all means. After you join the Movement you will get an official certificate with your name on it and the same will be reminding you of the commitment you are making to yourself and to the world,” Payal Jain, Creative Head said while handing over the certificates to the participants.
