Pre-Rajouri Day Celebrations

RAJOURI: As a prelude and run-up of Rajouri Day Celebrations, Army organised a volleyball tournament at ALG, Rajouri from May 17 to 19, 2024.
The tournament aims to connect with the youth of Rajouri and promote sports in the region. A total of eight local teams from various Tehsils of Rajouri participated in the tournament and witnessed enthusiastic response from all the participants.
The tournament was played on a league cum knock-out basis with all teams fiercely competing against each other for the coveted trophy.
The final was played between Asan Volleyball Club and Choudhary Club Rajouri where Asan Club emerged as winner.
Mohd Irfan of Asan Club was adjudged as the Best Player. The winner and runner-up teams were given trophies and cash awards.
Participants of teams were overwhelmed to be part of this tournament and expressed their gratitude for organising the event that garnered a lot of applause for the Indian Army.
