POONCH: Under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade, Sarla Battalion had undertaken a project of training and sponsoring children of Gulpur village of Poonch Sub Division under operation Sadbhavana for entrance into Army Public School, Beas.
The battalion provided training to two children, Usman Khan (age 12 yrs) and Aamir Faiz Khan (age 10 yrs) both residents of Gulpur, who succeeded in clearing the written exam for class-VII and V of APS, Beas respectively and are now a part of the school with effect from 6th April 2015 for the current academic session.
