Army conducts medical camp

BATOTE: On the occasion of World Health Day, Rashtriya Rifles units based at Nachlana under Delta force organised a medical camp at Batote in Ramban District on Thursday. A team of army doctors from Dharmund and Nachlana based units provided medical support and care to the locals who got displaced due to flash flood and heavy rains on 17th -18th March 2016. Free medical advice including medicines were provided to all patients. Approximately 100 patients from adjoining villages of Shaikh Mohallah, Batote and Dharmund of Ramban District were treated at the medical camp.
The medical camp was organised as a humanitarian initiative by Delta Force which brought the much needed medical facilities at the doorsteps of these displaced villagers.
The civil administration and locals of Batote appreciated the effort by the Indian Army for reaching the locals in times of distress due to natural calamities.
