SURNAKOTE: A lecture on ‘Save Water and Electricity’ was organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force for the locals of Jammushid village, Tehsil Surankote on Monday. The lecture was aimed at generating awareness of the importance of conserving water and electricity.
The Company Commander explained the various steps that can be taken to conserve the water and electricity. He emphasised the need to Go Green by conserving natural resources of Planet Earth which are limited in nature.
Romeo Force has been conducting many such civic and environment awareness programmes for the locals of twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch. The villagers participated with enthusiasm and responded positively to the lecture conducted by the Indian Army.
