RAJOURI: In an effort to promote adventure activities amongst the youth residing in the area of Thanamandi and nearby villages, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force, organised an adventure camp for local youth of the area for three days to Ratanpir and Sukhsar. The adventure camp started from 27th Sep and culminated on 29th Sep 2014. The camp included rock climbing, rappelling, trekking, knots and hitches, camping, outdoor cooking, raft making and swimming.
Local youth from of the area as also from far flung areas of Thanamandi, Saaz, Shahdara, Manial, Pangai, Darrah, Darhal, Tathyali and Dharooti participated enthusiastically.Indian Army is making all out efforts for better future of local youth, the same also was appreciated by parents, teachers, and Sarpanchs.
