JAMMU: Army Public School (APS) BD Bari lifted the Inter Army Public Schools (Cluster-1) Handball Tournament trophy whereas APS Kaluchak won runners trophy. Shiva Charak of APS BD Bari was declared as Best Player of the Tournament. In the final, APS BD Bari outplayed APS Kaluchak by 20-17. Earlier, in the first semifinal, APS BD Bari defeated APS Jammu Cantt by 22-16 while in second semifinal, APS Kaluchak trounced APS Damana by 17-12. In the closing ceremony, Chief Guest, Brig Deep Bhagat, Chairman APS BD Bari, distributed the trophies and certificates among the players. He appreciated players for their meticulous performance and stressed on the importance of sports and games in school curriculum.
