Annual sports meet ‘Combatica 2023’ concludes

JAMMU: The annual sports meet, Combatica 2023, concluded on Wednesday with an outstanding display of athleticism, sportsmanship, and unity.
Combatica 2023, brought together students, faculty, and staff from across the campus to celebrate the spirit of sports and camaraderie.
The event featured a diverse set of sports, including athletics, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and more.
Riya Banalech from the Banking and Finance Department won the first position in the Marathon Girls’ category. Sabavath Shankar from the B Tech Department emerged victorious in the Marathon Boys’ category. The Economics Department excelled in powerlifting. The girls from the Physics Department became the champions in Kho Kho. The B Tech Department boys secured the top position in the Kho Kho boys’ category while The Education Department achieved the second position.
The Department of Retail Management demonstrated exceptional skills and teamwork, winning the Volleyball competition.
The event not only showcased athletic talents but also emphasized the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and dedication upheld by the students.
The organizers extends congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding performances and to the departments for their unwavering support and encouragement.
The victories serve as a testament to the holistic development promoted by the institution, nurturing not only academic excellence but also physical fitness and teamwork.

The Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, praised the organizing team for their vision, creativity, and hard work, noting the positive impact on the university and student growth.
