Chhari Mubarak will reach Chandraini Top in Dessa on Guru Purnima: Yatra Trust

JAMMU: This year’s annual Yatra commenced on Tuesday from Panch Narayan Mandir Kathua and will reach its destination in Chandraini Top in Dessa area of District Doda.
Chhari Mubarak was flagged off by Dr. Dara Singh and Yudhveer Sethi, from Geeta Bhawan Jammu on Wednesday morning towards Doda.
Yatra will pass through various places and halts being at Jammu, Doda City, Braham Ghat, Shiekly, Malan, Gramari, Chanderbhatan and Jagrata will also be held at Chabuni in Dessa.
Later on next day on 20th, the holy Chhari Mubarak will reach Rudra Ganga Bhawan at Chandraini Top and on the same day holy bath (snaan) will be performed. On the night of July 21, Jagrata will be performed at the Bhawan.
In a statement, Advocate Joginder Singh Thakur, Spokesperson and legal advisor of the Yatra trust said that Annual Chhari Mubarak reaches the Rudra Ganga Dham situated at Chandraini in Dessa from where Rudra Ganga originates from three stones shaped like Rudraksh and becomes a river named commonly known as Rudra Ganga. Thakur further added that the holy bath (snaan) at Rudra Ganga is held every year on Guru Purnima in the month of July or August every year which starts from Nagri Kathua and reaches Chandraini top (Dessa) is district Doda and thousands of pilgrims join this Yatra and take holy bath every year. It is pertinent to mention here that this year, the Yatra commenced from Kathua on July 16 and will reach Chandraini Top on July 20.
