Annual plan of Rs 89.32 crore approved for Samba

SAMBA: The District Development Board Samba that met here on Saturday under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh approved an annual plan of Rs. 89.32 crore for carrying out various developmental works in the district during the year 2016-17.The meeting was attended by Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga, Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma ,Chairperson Social Welfare Board Nirmal Gupta, Vice Chairman J&K State Advisory Board for development of Scheduled Castes, Bhushan Lal Dogra, Vice Chairman J and K Advisory board for Development of Kissans, DS Chib, MLA Samba Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Hiranagar Kuldeep Raj, MLCs Noor Hussain and Sham Lal, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal HOD’s and officers of district administration .Pitching for formulation of area specific plans, Dy. CM asked the officers to include meticulous details and keep in view the topography and other related aspects of a particular area to meet the developmental needs of the people. He also called for involving the concerned MLAs while chalking out developmental plans in their respective constituencies.
