JAMMU: Stephens International Public School celebrated its eight Annual Day ‘UTSAV – 2014’ at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium with great success, reverence and magnitude.
The Vice Chancellor of Jammu University, Prof. R.D Sharma was the Chief Guest. The function started with welcome of the guest and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by scintillating, vibrant and spectacular performance of the students witnessed by the parents, the social and educational luminaries and the alumni of the institution.
The Principal of the School, Satvinder Saini presented the bouquet to the Chief Guest followed by a welcome speech delivered by Vice Principal of the School Rama Jamwal. The budding students of various sections wooed one and all with their electrifying performances of folk dance, fusion, western dance, drama and music.
Dance sequences captivated the audience followed by words of wisdom and school report by the Chairman of the School, Dr. Kamal Saini.
The Chief Guest Prof. R.D Sharma complimented the endeavours of the staff and the students for putting up stupendous show. He also appreciated the efforts of the Principal Satvinder Saini in imbibing the students with sound moral and ethical values.
Vote of thanks was presented by Kunal Saini, a student leader. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
