Ankush guides KCCC to semis of Premier League T20

JAMMU: The Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) today qualified for the semifinals of the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Premier League Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
In the quarterfinals, KCCC outplayed NCC by 21 runs. Earlier, batting first, KCCC set a target of 179 runs for nine wickets, which, in reply, NCC could not chase and bundled out for 157 runs.
Ram Dayal remained top scorer with 43 runs while Bandeep Singh contributed 37 runs. For NCC, Vijay Dogra claimed three wickets while Pranav Mahajan took two and Inderjeet Singh secured one wicket.
Later, NCC could not chase the total and was bowled out for 157 runs. Deepak and Vijay Dogra were top scorers with 39 and 38 runs respectively. Munish Dogra added 27 runs to the total. For KCCC, Ankush Bandral bowled brilliant spell taking away six wickets. Sohail Lalotra claimed two wickets and Raman Dutta bagged one.
For his match winning six-wicket haul, Ankush Bandral was named Man of the Match. Today’s quarterfinal was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Rajinder Singh as Umpires while Sanjeev was Scorer.
