SRINAGAR: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Spokesperson, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Thursday met Union Defence Minister, Monohar Parrikar and presented him a memorandum seeking package for development of the cantonment managed colonies wherein severely-hit by the recent floods damaged all infrastructure.
She also discussed the security situation with the Union Defence Minister and briefed him about the situation status report from all parts of the State.
Andrabi also presented her viewpoint in the memorandum about the effective steps needed for more public friendly activities of army in the State. She said that the army has been the biggest employment source for the youth of the State and demanded special employment drives for the State in army.
