Anantnag boy in India U-19 Volleyball team

JAMMU: With his hardwork and dedication, yet another J&K young spiker has made it to the Indian team from once disturbed Anantnag district of Kashmir Division of Union Territory of J&K.
Ahadab Shamim has been included the 20 probable for the Indian under-19 team presently undergo coaching camp at Bubneshwar in Odisha.
The team has been raised for the Under-19 Men World Championship slated to be held in Arjentina from August two to August 11, reports reaching here informed.
Shamim belongs to a family which has sports background. His father, Shamim Ahmed Ganai was a senior volleyball player from J&K.
Further, Mahir Wani of Srinagar has already been part of the ongoing coaching camp for the under-16 men volleyball team preparing for Ist under-16 Asian Volleyball Championship to be held at Tashkand in Uzbekistan from July 22 to 29.
The credit for recent achievements in volleyball from J&K goes to the efforts of present team in the Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK), especially president, Sidharth Daluja; secretary and Vijay Kumar Magotra.
