Sydney: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese addressed a special community event organised by Indians living in Australia it had an electrifying experience for those living and working in Australia. In the jam-packed Qudos Bank Arena where more than 20,000 people came to hear the Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidst the chants of “Modi, Modi”, the speech left a lasting impression on the audience with his impactful words.
The Young Bites Team which is in Sydney and covering the Prime Minister’s visit talked to the members of the Indian Diaspora.
Indian singer, best known for his contributions to the Bhajan genre, Anup Jalota said that he was in Australia for some concerts and attended the event. “World loves Modi ji and even Pakistani’s love him and want a PM like Modi. India needs Modi as permanent Prime Minister. That is the need of the hour”.
An journalist Manish Rai who covers and writes about the Middle East said about the ongoing G-20 meeting in Srinagar, ” I feel hosting the G-20 meeting in Srinagar is not just a programme but a statement that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. I think a particular country which is supporting the terrorism as a state policy has got a strong message since Modi became Prime Minister of India.
