Ambardar meets Rajnath

SRINAGAR: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar on Saturday met Union Home Minister, Raj Nath Singh, who is on a two days to Kashmir to review the security scenario, at Raj Bhawan Srinagar.
MLC discussed the current security scenario of the State and expressed his views, opinion and suggestions in handling the same and also emphasised on the need to work on the reduction of the trust deficit so that the connection with the people at large is strengthened.
Ambardar also discussed the continuous delay in implementation of the PM Employment Package for Kashmiri displaced community wherein out of 3,000 posts only 1,900 have been filled till now and the rest have still not been filled despite the fact that unemployed youth of the displaced community having appeared for the required written and other examinations since last two years but still the list of their selection is pending and also stressed on the need to issue notifications for the additional 3,000 posts for displaced community so that the youth of the community start filling the forms for the same.
For safe and dignified return of Kashmiri Pandit community to Kashmir Valley, MLC emphasised on the need to open a dialogue with the displaced community wherein the process can be initiated with the leaders of the different Pandit organisations so that restoring confidence of the community gets started which can play a important role in the return of Pandit community with safety and dignity.
MLC also informed Home Minister that he (Ambardar) had led one such delegation to former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed but due to the unfortunate demise of Mufti the dialogue process could not move forward.
The Union Home Minister assured the MLC that he will look into all the concerns raised by the legislator.
