Amarnath Yatra: Jugal, Rajesh review arrangements at Yatri Niwas

JAMMU: Member of Parliament BJP Jammu-Poonch Jugal Kishore Sharma reviewed arrangements at Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar Jammu for smooth conduct of Amarnath Yatra and met with the officials of various departments including Tourism, PHE, etc and discussed issues and demands. He also reviewed the security arrangements, registration process and other facilities.
He directed the concerned departments for extending adequate facilities to devotees for making their stay comfortable and hassle free.
He also reviewed the arrangements for food and shelter so that the Pilgrims may not face any difficulty due to delay in Yatra by unfavorable condition raised in Valley. He also assured Yatris that very soon the Yatra will be resumed and their religious sentiments would be respected properly.

Meanwhile, MLA Jammu east Rajesh Gupta also visited Amarnath Yatri Bhawan Bhagwati Nagar and inspected the facilities being provided to the Yatris by the administration.
He was accompanied by BJP State Vice President Parmod Kapahi, Mahila Morcha State President Purnima Sharma, District President Baldev Singh Billowria, General Secretary Vinay Gupta, Secretary Praveen Arora and General Secretary Sangeeta Dogra, General Secretary Veenu Khanna, Mandal Vice President Munish Gupta, Mandal President Asha Rani and ADC Arun Manhas.
The MLA assured the Yatris that the Government would provide all the facilities to Yatris ensuring comfort during Yatra besides providing them adequate safety and security.
He informed the Yatris that Deputy CM Dr Nirmal Singh, State President Sat Sharma and Sangathan Mahamantri is in Srinagar and are keeping a close watch on the situation. He assured them that the Yatra would go on smoothly as soon as the normalcy is restored in the valley.
“Dr Nirmal Singh is very concerned about the safety of the Yatris and is monitoring base camps at Lakhanpur, Jammu and Baltal”, he said adding the administration is on toes to provide every possible facility to the Yatris. He however, instructed the administration to provide government buses to the Yatris so that they can visit Vaishno Devi, Shiv Khori, Mansar and other places of religious and tourist significance till the time Yatra is resumed.
