A source close to Shruti had claimed that the actress didn’t want to date the charming man because she didn’t want to be one of the many names linked to Sid around that time.

This short-lived fling happened after Sidharth had broken up with his South African model girlfriend and before he had moved on to his Student Of The Year co-star Alia Bhatt.
