AJKCS holds inter-religion conference

JAMMU: All J&K Christian Sabha (AJKCS) has organized inter-religion conference on the inter-religious unity, where the representative from all religions has joined the conference.
Cooperative, constructive and positive interaction was held between the people of different religious tradition, spirituality, humanistic beliefs at individual and institutional levels and step towards the communal unity by discussing four points like religious perceptive about other religions, barriers between inter religion unity, participation in other religion tradition and festivals, stand unite with other religions in the hard times.
Narinder Singh, Tejinder Pal Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Mohd Jasarat, Qari Tariq Sahab, Qari Akram Sahab, R.K Kalsotra, R.D Thappa, F.C Sattia, Ajit Bajala, Jose Vadekkel, Mathew Thomas, Stalin Raj, Prince and Polous were present in the conference.
Conference was concluded with short message of love, peace, humanity and unity on the occasion of Christmas by Bishop Ivan Periera (Bishop Jammu Srinagar Diocese) with Christmas Cake cutting proceeded with Chief Guest, Deepak Digra SP South and Guest of Honour, Chandan Datta Chairman Kotli Colony Welfare Trust along with all religious representatives.
Bishop Ivan appreciated the initiative of Sabha to spread the message of communal harmony and brotherhood.
“These type of programmes are much needed in today’s time to spread message of secularism and to strong the mother land,” he said.
Chandan Datta said for a stronger nation, unity and brotherhood, is crux for the new modern developed India.
“Secularism is the main pillar and beauty of this Nation which we have to maintain and obey as our duty,” he said.
Ashu Peter Mattoo- President of Christian Sabha extended greetings of Christmas to all religious representative and guests along with Sunny Khokhar -Gen Secretary, Tony Mattoo, Rohit Rockes, Rafiq, Vicky Bhatti, Harun Sandhu, Pt. Raju Kumar, Vikram Paul, Tariq, John, Sebastian, Ketan, Boney Kumar, Emanuel and Arun.
