Air traffic resumes at Srinagar airport

STATE TIMES NEWS
Srinagar: The air traffic at Srinagar airport fully resumed on Thursday – more than a week after it was disrupted due to poor visibility because of dense fog.
Normal flight operations took place as visibility improved, Director Airport Authority of India (AAI), Srinagar airport, Sharad Kumar said.
Kumar said all 18 flights landed at the airport today, which then took-off as well.
The flight operations at the airport remained badly affected due to poor visibility over the past more than a week.
The operations were first hit on Thursday last week when the afternoon flights had to be cancelled due to poor visibility as a thick layer of fog engulfed the Valley.
