AICPE starts technical courses under Skill India

Students along with Institute faculty during the launch of courses.

BHADARWAH: To practically expand the reach and benefits of Prime Minister’s dream project ‘Skill India’ in rural and far off areas, union government’s All India Council For Professional Excellence (AICPE) started skill development courses in collaboration with Ess and Ess Institute of Technology in Additional District Bhadarwah.
The formal inauguration of the eight technical and semi technical courses was held at Ess Ess Institute of Technology Bhadarwah on Monday. The inaugural function in which prospectus along with the detail of streams were released jointly by the Chief Guest SDPO Bhadarwah Brijesh Sharma and guest of honor Prof Javed Iqbal Zargar in presence of Director of the Institute, Mohd Mudassir Nawaz, Coordinator Majid Baba and other faculty members.
To empower rural youth with basic technical skills, One such Center was also opened in Additional District Bhadarwah which according to the management has received massive response from the youth especially from fairer sex. “This programme is aimed at to empower rural youth by training them in different technical trades under ‘Skill India’ initiative to earn their livelihood in a dignified way,” said Mohd Mudassir Nawaz, Director SSIT.
In the first phase, eight programmes based on Computer and Internet, GST, Teaching, Tourism and Tailoring have been introduced. Speaking on the occasion, SDPO Bhadarwah Brijesh Sharma said, “In the given circumstances, this is a wonderful initiative, which will not only help youth to channelize their skill and energy in a proper way and get them an opportunity to earn their livelihood but will also motivate them to stay away from the social evils prevalent in society especially drug menance. ”
Prominent faculty members who were present during the inauguration include Majid Baba, Shafia Bano, Shahid Thouker, Khadim Murtaza, Yasir Bin Nisar, Arjumand Mehta, Amir Latief Sheikh, Danish Khan and Afsha Shameem.
