JAMMU: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines especially computer system. In general AI system works by ingesting large amounts of labeled training data, analyzing the data for patterns and using these patterns to make predictions about future states”, stated Kalyani.
“Artificial programming focuses on cognitive skills that include Learning; Reasoning; Self Correction & Creativity. Artificial Intelligence reduces the human effort. People are using this technology in many industries to develop autonomous robots for performing various activities. The machine can increase the speed of work and process and give accurate results. The future of AI is promising with continuous advancement in machine language, natural language processing and computer vision”, she further added. At last, she summed up saying that “AI is good at describing the world as it is today with all of its biases but it does not show how a world doing great in the present circumstances can be also great in future”.
Another brilliant student from class X Harshdeep Singh said, “David is 11 years old. He weighs 60 pounds. He is 4 feet and 6 inches tall. He has brown hair. His love is real but he is not i.e. he is an AI robot. Once, world’s most famous Physicist Stephen Hawking said, “Success in creating AI would be the biggest event in human history, but unfortunately, it might also be the loss unless we learn how to avoid the risks”.
Speaking on the topic ‘Prospects of AI’, he reflected, “AI has a number of applicants in many different industries. AI for example may assist us in analyzing vast volumes of data to find trends and insights that are accessible to humans. This may be applied to enhance healthcare, reduce crime and provide safer transportation. AI can also make our lives more efficient by automating endless jobs. AI is also used by voice assistants like Siri and Alexa to ease our work by carrying out our spoken orders”.
“AI is also used by self driving cars like Tesla to navigate and make judgments while driving. But, with AI’s strength comes responsibility. Do you know according to Servion Global Solution by 2025, 95% of costumers interactions will be powered by AI and by 2045, AI is expected to completely surpass human intelligence”, he concluded.
Reflecting on the ‘Consequences of AI’, another promising student Harshit said, “The greatest disadvantage of AI is that it promotes unemployment. As AI develops, it is crucial that it is utilized morally and doesn’t hurt humans as well as living things. This involves ensuring that AI systems are impartial and fair safeguarding people’s primary and preventing AI from replacing occupations without offering alternatives to work”.
“Additionally, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, who has long pushed for government regulation of AI, recently compared AI to nuclear weapon in terms of its danger. Robots are not going to replace humans; they are going to make their jobs much more humane. Difficult, demeaning, dangerous, dull – these are the jobs robots will be taking. But, the sad thing about artificial intelligence is that it lacks artifice and therefore intelligence”, he summarized.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore reiterated the fact “Science is a great servant but a bad master. It’s so exciting to allow the genii out of the lamp but it’s so difficult to tame it forever. As the adage goes, curiosity killed the cat. Hence we must exercise control over our ambition, only then world can a better place to live in with joy, freedom, peace and co-existence”.
