AECC delegation calls on Dir Agri

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: A deputation of Agriculture Employees Coordination Committee (AECC) comprising all the associations of Agriculture Department viz NGAGA, AJKAOWF, AJKEA and JAKATA met Director Agriculture Jammu and submitted a memorandum.
Presidents of aforesaid Associations expressed concern and resented over the future ramifications of recent government Order No 193 of Agriculture of 2017 dated July 25, 2017 and apprehended that it will open floodgates for more such orders leading to disturbance of overall hierarchical promotional avenues of official/ officer of Jammu Division viz-a-viz Kashmir Division.
It was elaborated that in Kashmir Division interim arrangement for higher posts is going on division basis rather than State cadre basis and officers are being alleviated on regular basis on Divisional level without taking State cadre seniority into consideration. As a result Kashmir division officers/officials are holding superior charges as compare to their counterparts in Jammu irrespective of State cadre seniority. Now Kashmir Division officers/ officials after availing interim promotion in Kashmir Division on basis of divisional cadre are trying to frog jump over Jammu Division Cadre officers/officials which is sheer injustice. Migrants are also trying to make foothold in Jammu Division after availing promotions in Kashmir Division. This trend shall choke promotional avenues of Jammu Division officers and will open avenues for influx of migrants in Jammu Division enmass and leave vacancies in Kashmir Division.
All the Associations of Jammu Division appealed that Jammu Division should not be discriminated and lien of officers under Government Order No. 193-Agri 2017 dated July 20, 2017 should be kept in their respective Divisions and order in this case should be issued immediately.
