Advocate Sindhu Sharma appointed Assistant Solicitor General of India

JAMMU: President of India Pranab Mukherjee has appointed Advocate Sindhu Sharma as Assistant Solicitor General of India (ASGI) in J and K High Court Jammu Wing.
According to the order issued by Joint Secretary Law and Justice Govt of India that consequent upon the resignation of Kuldeep Kumar Pangotra from the post of ASGI, the President of India is pleased to engage Sindhu Sharma Advocate as ASGI with immediate effect for a period of three years or further orders.
It is pertinent to mention here that Advocate Sindhu Sharma is the first lady Advocate of J and K who has appointed as Assistant Solicitor General of India.
Meanwhile President also engaged Advocate Ramesh Arora as Senior Panel Counsel in J&K High Court Jammu Wing and also engaged him as Senior Standing Counsel for presenting Central Govt cases before CAT. JNF
