POONCH: DIG RP Range Dr Haseeb Mughal on Monday conducted its maiden visit to District Poonch after assuming charge as DIG RP Range. He was received by SSP Poonch Rohit Baskotra at Bhimber Gali where he had first hand information about the highway Nakas and general security situation.
DIG Range chaired a security review meeting at DPO Poonch attended by all gazetted officers and SHOs of district Poonch and had a detailed review of the security situation of the district. DIG impressed upon all officers to adapt people friendly policing and ensure public delivery in time bound manner better public interaction and measures to be adopted for upcoming events. DIG RP Range also pay visit to District Police lines where he had interaction with jawans and staff of DPL . He listened to the grievances of officers and jawans and disposed of certain issues on the spot.In his address he wished them good health and impressed upon them to inculcate good habits in their day to day activities. He also paid a visit Mandi where he was briefed about budha amarnath ji yatra route and deployments plan by SSP Poonch and Commandant 32 bn BSF.
The DIG was accompanied by SSP Poonch , ASP Poonch and DySP Hqrs Poonch.
