JAMMU: ADGP Railways J&K, Sunil Kumar, on Thursday chaired a comprehensive crime and security review meeting at Railway Police Hqrs Jammu.
Attended by key officers including Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP Railways Jammu, Albeena Malik, SDPO Railways Jammu, Naresh Kumar, DySP GRP Lines Jammu, and Niaz Ahmed SHO PS GRP Jammu, the meeting covered several crucial aspects. During the meeting, ADGP Railways reviewed the old and fresh cases and issued necessary directions and guidelines to the officers for speedy disposal of under investigation cases. He emphasised to finalize the under investigation cases as early as possible. In view of upcoming festivals like Navratra, Deepawali and other important religious festivals, ADGP Railways told the officers to intensify patrolling and checking in their respective areas. He also directed officers to pay surprise visits to the important deployment points and sensitive locations to check the security preparedness of the jawans deployed on security duties.
In view of the huge rush of passengers anticipated to arrive at Railway Station Jammu during the upcoming festive season, ADGP Railways J&K stressed to further strengthen the deployment on tracks exclusively at Railway Station Jammu.
