‘Ensure proper co-ordination among all intelligence agencies for incident free Yatra’

JAMMU: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh on Friday convened a preparatory meeting through virtual mode with the concerned Range DIGs/ District SSPs/ ASPs/ SDPOs and officers of Traffic/ Security wing to discuss the various security related issues in connection with Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra-2023 and adequate Police /Security deployment.
At the outset of the meeting, a detailed briefing was given DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, SSP Jammu and SSP Security regarding proposed Police/Security arrangements to be made by them at Base camps Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, enroute of Yatra, halt-age points, lodgment centers and Budha Amarnath Ji Temple Mandi District Poonch etc.
In view of the present security scenario in twin border districts of Jammu Zone threadbare discussion were held on various security issues.
Singh also advised the participants to ensure that a proper co-ordination be maintained among all the intelligence agencies, Army, PMF, Traffic and Security wing in their respective districts/area of responsibility including ROP for smooth and incident free Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra-2023.
