JAMMU: Mukesh Singh, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, organized a Hi-Tea party for Ashok Kumar, SSP (Staff Officer) who is going to attain superannuation from the service on 30th of September-2023. ADGP Jammu Zone highlighted and lauded the work/efforts put in by the officer during his service in the department in different capacities while his posting in vigilance organization, PTS Vijaypur, and Staff Officer to ADGP Jammu Zone. For his outstanding performance in duties, Ashok Sharma, SSP earned number of Commendation certificates/ rewards and appreciations from senior formations. More-over for his utmost excellence towards his duties, he was awarded with DGPs Commendation Medal in the year 2004 and in the year 2007, Chief vigilance medal for the year 2007 and an amount of Rs. 51000 for displaying conspicuous and exemplary courage in while discharging his duties. Shakti Pathak, DIG JSK Range also highlighted the contribution made by the officer during his service in the police department. The function was held in appreciation to the services rendered by him to the institution. The department wished him a happy and prosperous post-retirement life. All the GOs, NGOs and staff of the ZPHQ Jammu was also present in the function.
