ADGP Jammu flags off Bharat Darshan Tour of Udhampur students

JAMMU: The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, Jammu, Anand Jain, flagged off the Bharat Darshan Tour for 69 students from various parts of District Udhampur this morning at Gulshan Ground, Jammu. This tour has been organized by the Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu, under the Civic Action Programme (CAP). The students, accompanied by two caretakers from District Udhampur, will embark on an enriching journey from Jammu to Delhi, and then from Delhi to Chennai by air. The Bharat Darshan Tour Programme is scheduled from June 24 to 29, 2024. Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Anand Jain emphasized the importance of such tours in broadening the horizons of young minds and fostering a sense of national pride and unity. He expressed hope that the students would gain valuable experiences and insights from the diverse cultural and historical heritage of India.
The Civic Action Programme, under which this tour is organized, aims to bridge the gap between the police and the public, especially the youth, by engaging them in constructive activities. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to the welfare and development of the younger generation.
