JAMMU: Additional Director General of Police Security/ Armed J and K, Dilbag Singh on Tuesday felicitated the officers and officials of Armed Police Headquarters who have been awarded DGPs Medal and Commendation Certificates for the year 2016. On the occasion, the ADGP also felicitated Lakhvinder Singh and Kuljit Singh of APHQ and decorated them with ASI Ranks.
The promotion orders of Lakhvinder Singh and Kuljit Singh among others were issued by the DGP Dr. S.P Vaid after the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) declared them fit for their next promotion. M.Y Kichloo SSP, Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J and K, Chandan Kohli- SDPO Jammu (East), Gurinderpal Singh- SDPO Akhnoor, Junaid Wali-, DySP (Pers) APHQ and Jigmet Lundhup- DySP Sports APHQ J and K who among others were present in the felicitation function-cum-piping ceremony also congratulated the promoted officers and awardees.
While congratulating the awardees of DGPs Medal and promoted officers, Dilbag Singh also extended his warm greetings to their family members.
He exhorted upon the promoted officials as well as awardees to work with the same zeal and dedication and to become the role model for their juniors/ colleagues.
