BHADARWAH: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhadarwah, Mohammad Hanief Malik on Friday convened a meeting to review the arrangements for Independence Day celebrations.
During the meeting, it was informed that the main function will be organised at Government Boys Higher Secondary School where VIP will host the Tricolor and take salute at the march Past by contingents of JKAP, NCC and students from various schools. Later a colourful cultural programme will be presented by the school children on the occasion.
Various other arrangements including security, installation of Public Address System, medicare, power and drinking water supply, sanitation, seating arrangements were discussed and finalised in the meeting.
ADC directed the Information Department to start the day with playing of shehnai wadan early in the morning. It was also decided that the full dress rehearsals shall be held on August 13 at 10:00 AM.
ASP, Tehsildar, SDPO, Principals of Government Schools besides other Tehsil officers and officials attended the meeting.
