JAMMU: Adbi Kunj on Sunday released Dosti Ka Farz, a book on collection of story and poetry in Hindi written by late Madhu Raman ‘Ronaq’, in a function organised at KL Sehgal Hall, Jammu.
A large number of writers, poets, artists and intellectuals from different walks of life participated in the function which was organised by Abdi Kunj in association with Nami Dogri Sanstha.
A linguistic personality, Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma, who was awarded by the President of India, conducting the programme in which ex-Minister Ram Paul and was the Chief Guest.
In his welcome address, President, Adbi Kunj, Sham Talib said that organisation has been conducting various literary events in routine.
Dr. Baljeet Raina, Tayab Bharti, Santosh Shah Nadaan and Dr Om Parkash read out their papers on the different shades of life and remarkable works of late Madhu Raman ‘Raunaq’.
Some poets also recited their poems to pay their tributes to late Raman ‘Ronaq’.
They included Bishan Dass Khak, Shahid Iqbal Kosar, Santosh Shah Nadaan, Sham Talib and Aarsh Om Dalmotra.
The vote of thanks was presented by Yash Paul Yash, General Secretary, Nami Dogri Sanstha.
