JAMMU: To celebrate the New Year 2016 an outstanding front ranking multilingual literary organization Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu held a very special composite Mushaira at its New meeting hali in the premises of Chairman Aarash Om Dalmotra’s house at Rajpura. A large number of poets of different languages and other literary luminaries were participated in the poetic function. In the function the former Minister Rampal was the Chief Guest while prominent intellectual poet and Yoga expert Dr. S.K. Jain presided over the function, whereas well known multifaceted literary and cultural personality Dr. Baljeet Raina was the Guest of Honour. Sham Talib president of the organization while conducted the mushaira he greeted the New Year and commemorate the holy birthday of Guru Govind Singh. On the occasion Mr. Sham Talib threw detailed light on the various activities carried out in 2015 and also highlighted the schedule of 2016. On the other side Chief Guest Mr. Ram Pal former Minister Dr. S.K. Jain President and Guest of honour of the function Dr. Bsljit Raina were also greeting the hcli Gurpurb they also appreciated the efforts of the Adbi Kunj for the upliftment of the literary and ultural activities since 1975. In the function Adbi Kunj also remembered its late colleague Rajeshwar Bhakhari (died on 22 July 2015 and Onkar Nath Rana died on 11 December 2015). Organisation also paid their tributes to its old activist Audhya Rani Ghamkhar on her fourth death anniversary and two minutes silence was also observed. The main attraction of the function was a composite multicolour Mushaira in which poets were recited their different Kalam in Urdu, Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Gojari, Pahadi and English languages. They also presented their poems and songs on the holy life and teaching of Guru Govind Singh Ji. Some poets of the mushaira were included Dr. S.K. Jain, Dr. Baljit Singh Raina, Aarash Om Dalmotra, Gulam Nabi Ghafal, Ved Uppal, Ashraf Shaikda Banhali, Chand Krishan, Rakesh Tripat, Raj Kumar Uttam, Bishan Dass Khak, Raj Kamal, Abdul Jabar Butt, Sanjeev Kumar, Ch. Manzoor Badana, Rajeev Kumar, R.K. Abrol, Naseer Ahmed Nasir Banhali, Romesh Rahi, Masuom Kishtwari, M.S. Kamra, Adris Shad, Fozia Mughal Zia, Harish Kela, Yash Pal Yash and Sham Talib. It was surprised to the participants that Ex. Minister, Chief Guest of the function Rampal was also recited some verses of various poets and also sang some verses of the Ghazals and songs. The poetic function was come end with the vote of thanks by the host Aarash Om Dalmotra Chairman of Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu. In the end it was decided that the organization will be organize a special tributes meet on the death anniversary of its founder General Secretary noted poet Ustad Brij Mohan Sajan in their coming literary meet on 10 Jan 2016 at its literary centre in the premises of Zee Pre Kidzee School, Talab Tillo, Jammu at 3 PM.
