Kolkata, Oct 28 (PTI) ‘Buno Hans’ actor Tanusree Chakroborty, having debuted first in Kamaleswar’s Uro Chithi, says she doesn’t feel a film can be judged by hit or flop tags.
“I had wanted for long to work with Tonyda (Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury) and the way he charted my role in Buno Haans it gave me another big platform to showcase role of a little weird, self-willed and bold girl, the type of role every thinking actress should aspire for,” Tanusreee told PTI on the sidelines of a jewellery event here.
“And the tag of hit or flop doesn’t make or break a film. From the audience reaction I know for sure Buno Haans had been liked for its straight narrative and the music of Shantanu Moitra.”
“Who will not like to lip sync Shantanuda’s composition in Shreya’s (Ghosal) voice?” Tanusree said at the launch of collections of new jewellery of a well-known chain in town.
Actor Rituparna Sengupta, busy with promotions of Parapaar and Pati Parameswar, two different genre flicks, revelaed she was a jewelry person having love for gold like every single woman.
“I love to don more of traditional gold showpieces on puja days and marriage occasions which can be complemented with saree or kurti/salwars,” the Aleek Sukh actor said.
“We would love to take Rituparna as opart of our future jewlllery range launches,” jwellery chain director Rupak Saha, whose Bisnupuri temple motiff jewelleries had been unveiled by Konkona sen Sharma, said.
