Academy of Wushu emerges overall champion

JAMMU: Academy of Wushu on Saturday emerged overall champion in the two-day District Jammu Championship which held at J&K Sports Council (JKSC) administered Indoor Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, here.
The overall second position went to Khelo India Wushu Centre Jammu while May Fair International School remained overall third.
In the closing function, Vijay Saraf, president Wushu Association of J&K was chief Guest, who presented medals to the winners of different age groups.
He congratulated the medal winners and encouraged other participants for exhibiting their talent.
Bhavneet, general secretary of Wushu Association of J&K was guest of honour. She congratulated all the six players, who have qualified for the 37th National Games at Goa.
Among others present were Vaishali (general secretary of District Jammu Wushu Association) Ritika Slathia, Balwinder Singh, Kamal Kishore, Rajinder Singh, Surya Bhanu Partap, Abhishek Jamwal, Atul Sharma, Lalit Singh, Rohit Thakyal, Ruchi, Appu Jamwal and Aman Singh.
