ABSMS warns to intensify agitation if demands are not redressed

JAMMU: State President, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazoor Sangh (ABSMS), Dev Anand Gill warned Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation and State Government that if any wrong decision taken against the demands of civic Safaikaramcharis then Sangh activists will come on roads for which only present government will be held responsible for any consequences.
Talking to reporters here on Thursday, Gill said “We have already gone through three strikes for our genuine demands by through Civic Safai Karamchari Union under the leadership of Rinku Gill, but all the three previous strikes have failed.”
Dev Anand demanded re-organisation of Jammu Municipal Corporation, scrapping of NGO system, regularisation of casual labourers and contractual drivers but all in vain.
“Now, this is our fourth strike and we forcefully again reiterates that if this time this strike fails, then ABSMS will take over this strike and for that the present government as well as commissioner will be responsible,” he said.
Shankar Kumar, Amar Momin, Bhagat Ram, Chaman Lal Mattoo, Hardev Singh, Yash Pal, Ramesh, Sajan, Lucky Chaudhary, Sewa Ram, Gaggi Momin, Harrison, Waseem, Rocky, Sohan Lal, Balraj, Anwar and Vijay Pal were also present in the press conference.
