RAJOURI: Dr. Iqbal Malik Block Medical Officer Darhal paid a surprise visit to Sub-Centre Bhangai Block Darhal, on the inputs of absenteeism from the locals of the area and found all the employees viz Mr. Zahir Ahmed Pharmacist, Nasreen Akhter , FMPHW and Shagufta Shaheen (FMPHW under NHM ) posted in the said Sub-centre absent from their duties. The sub-centre building was also found locked at 2:00 PM.
Taking stern action to ensure proper health care services for the people in rural areas, Zahir Ahmed Pharmacist, Nasreen Akhter , FMPHW were immediately placed under suspension, whereas order for slashing the salary of Shagufta Shaheen (FMPHW Under NHM) for three (three days) also stands issued.
Dr. Malik also said that if any employee of Darhal Block is found non- serious towards his/her duties, action under rules shall be taken accordingly.
Dr. Malik also disclosed that in the next month a calendar for conducting medical camps at far flung areas through a team of doctors, shall be issued under the guidance of Dr. Mohd Younis Chief Medical Officer Rajouri and the best health care facilities shall be provided to the public at their doorstep.
