JAMMU: Police on Thursday arrested an absconder in an attempt to murder case registered wide FIR No 39/2016 under Section 307 RPC 4/27 Act from Rajpura area of Jammu city.
The said accused was evading arrest since committing the attempt to murder of Ajay Kumar son of Sardari Lal and Ramesh Kumar son of Ujjar, resident of Bakshi Nagar. The weapon of offence a Toka was also recovered on the instance of the accused. The arrest was made by a special police team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar, Inspector Ashwani Sharma under the supervision of SDPO West, DySP Suganda Mahajan and S.P City North, Dr. Vinod Kumar.
