Reservations on any basis, whether poverty or caste or religion, should be abolished. Only scholarships should be given to students that too based on economic
circumstances.
Dividing the society by way of caste or religion is the worst thing to do. Scholarship/performance should be the only criteria for jobs and promotions. Also, disparity of wages in public versus private jobs should be slowly eliminated by increasing the minimum wages in private jobs.
