JAMMU: Expressing resentment against the statement given by the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed regarding non feasibility of artificial lake and non setting up of AIIMS in Jammu, activists of Aam Aadmi Party on Monday staged a protest here.
Led by AAP activist Vipan Nischal, the protesters assembled at Kacchi Chawni and raised slogans against government.
Nischal said that the state government has discriminated with the people of Jammu province by showing red signal to both the projects.
“While taking oath as Chief Minister in the presence of BJP, Mufti has given credit to militants and Pakistan for smooth conduct of election in the State which was widely condemned by the nationalists but elected representative of BJP remained mum just for the sake of power,” he added.
Those who joined the protest include Tejinder Singh, Swarn Singh, Rohit Sharma, Ashok Koul, Rajesh, Sunil Pandita, Roshan Magotra, Bobby, Munish Sharma, Vinod Singh, Sahil Sharma, Tilak Raj, Darshan Lal, Vikas Veer, Ashok Karloo, Santosh Verma, Chetan Sharma, Manjeet Singh, Narender Sharma, Mangat Ram Attri and Parkash Gupta.
