AAP more concerned about its MLAs: BJP

New Delhi:- BJP today alleged that AAP is more concerned about the security of its MLAs and has failed to ensure the safety of women in Delhi.

“AAP had in its manifesto promised to install 15 lakh CCTV cameras and deploy a security guard in every bus, but I cannot see any of these. This shows that for AAP, the security of its MLAs is more important,” Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, said in a press conference.
Alleging that AAP employed more than the required number of advocates for a legal battle against the Centre to have administrative control of Delhi and was paying them “hefty” fees, Gupta urged Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung to set up a high-level enquiry committee to probe the matter.

“It has never happened in the history of the Delhi government that so many advocates are engaged in one case. As many as nine advocates have been employed by the Delhi government in the case in which the High Court yesterday delivered judgement on the roles of the LG and the CM,” said Gupta.
