KATRA: Police on Monday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 90 grams of Charas from his possession.
As per the details, a police party of Police Station Katra led by Inspector Arvind Sambyal, SHO Police Station Katra under the supervision of Dr. Ashok Sharma, SDPO Katra and Sumir Kotwal, Addl. SP Katra acting on a specific information, laid a Naka at Chintamani near Dak bungalow Katra.
During checking /frisking, police recovered 90 grams of Charas from the possession of Asgar Hussain son of Gulzar Hussain resident of Karam Katha Tehsil Thuroo Distt. Reasi.
The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 214/2016 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Katra.
