SRINAGAR: In its drive against the drug menace, police on Wednesday seized Charas in Awantipora.
Acting on a specific information, a police party headed by DO Police Post Reshipora raided a house belonging to Bashir Ahmad Shah, son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Jangilnad, Awantipora. On search, police recovered 800 grams of Charas powder.
Awantipora Police has registered a case FIR number 01/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS Act and launched a man hut to nab the accused.
