JAMMU: Police on Saturday arrested a pedestrian and recovered 8 grams of heroin like substance from his possession.
On specific information, a police party of Gandhi Nagar Police Station laid a Naka at Shamshan Ghat Chowk, Shastri Nagar and apprehended one pedestrian. On his search, police recovered approximately eight grams of heroin like substance from his possession.
Police registered a case under relevant section at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and started investigation.
