POONCH : With the opening of Chakan-da-Bagh crossing 79 visitors crossed the Line of Control in Poonch Sector on Monday.
Among 47 passengers who went to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) include two Indian visitors who went to meet their relatives while 45 PoK visitors returned after completing their visit. Among 32 passengers who came to India included 31 PoK visitors who came to meet their relatives in India and one Indian visitor who returned after the visit.
The gates were opened from 2:45 to 3:10 PM. The crossing was supervised by TFO Bashir Lone and Dy SP S. S Salathia from Indian side and SDM Hajira Aslam Qayani from PoK side.
