67th Republic Day celebrated at KC Gurukul Paloura

JAMMU: 67th Republic Day and was celebrated at KC Gurukul Public School Paloura with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students and teachers paid obeisance to Mata Saraswati, the Goddess of Wisdom and knowledge where entire school sought the blessings of the divine goddess.
The patriotic songs ‘Hind Desh Ke Vaasi’, ‘Desh Humein Deta Hai Sab Kuch’ and ‘Bharat Mata Bhudhjan Gita’ filled all present with a deep feeling of patriotism. The toddlers of the school presented a dance performance ‘Sab Se Aage Honge Hindustani’ which filled each heart with confidence and high esteem for mother India. On this historic occasion school children presented a Republic Day Parade along with colourful cultural programme. Chairman of the School, Arvind Mahajan inspected the Guard of Honour and unfurled the National Flag. He also took salute at the march past. Academic Director of the School, Vijay Puri in her address encouraged the students to courageously look forward for the uplift of the nation’s pride. The function came to an end with the singing of the National Anthem.
