JAMMU: Street Warriors on Friday registered a big 57 runs win against Krishna Akhnoor to move into the next round of the ongoing Summer Cup Twenty20 Cricket Tournament being organised by Singh Cricket Club, at Government Higher Secondary School Ground, here.
Batting first, after winning the toss, Street Warriors set a challenging target of 219 runs for six wickets, which, in reply, Krishna Akhnoor could not chase and the whole team was bowled out for 161 runs in 16.2 overs.
Sahil Mishra remained top scorer with 41-ball 60 runs while Amit Sharma contributed 20-ball 42 runs. Amit Rajput added valuable 14-ball 32 runs. For Krishna Akhnoor, Anil took three wickets, followed by Mallu, who secured two and Parveen bagged one wicket.
Batting second, Krishna Akhnoor started their innings on positive note but lost wickets on regular intervals to sum up their innings at 161 runs in 16.2 overs.
Sahil Soodan (36 off 19 balls), Sahil Pawar (34 off 27 balls) and Kala (22 off 10 balls) were main scorers. For Street Warriors, Aman clinched three wickets while Pankaj and Amit shared two wickets each.
For his brilliant batting, Sahil Mishra was decaled Man of the Match. Vikas Bali and Rajinder Sharma were Umpires in today’s match while Ajay Bhagat was Scorer.
